I have a Retail Agreement with Green Tree. In this agreement I have a Aboritration Agreement. That at the time I was told by Johnson mobile homes that if I had a dispute that it would have to be worked out before suit could be filed. I did not know it would cost a forture to Aboritrate. And this expense would be my problem. I do not have this kind of money. Working things out with Green Tree is a lost cause. Talking to these people gets you no where. At present I am dealing with Abusive Debt Collection. I don’t have a phone and was belittled because I didn’t walk to a neighbors, or family members house to call them. They have called my family members and even my church. I do not want my family members know what my problems are unless I really need them. This is something they should not have to worry about. I have a letter to the previous company Conseco that owned it prior, not to call family members or my work. It was transferred to Green Tree. Does this letter that is supposed to be in my file not pertain to this company? The agent was rude and told me that they have sent me a Notice of Default on the 30th of December by certified mail. I have yet to receive this notice. The agent told me that it was not her problem that I have not received this notice. Call the Post Office. I had until the 29th of this month to pay $585.00 Dollars or they will take my home. I will have the money paid, it is just that she was really abusive and what if I don’t get this notice. I’m really scared. As of today, January 6th, still no notice. In the past, they have called my mother and told her that they were going to send someone to take pictures of my house so it can be sold. I did not receive a notice then either. Well hind site is 20/20. I can’t do anything about that now. I will not call this company anymore. My nerves will not handle this kind of abuse. I have turn the situation to the federal trade commission. I have not heard from them yet. Please advise on what should I do.

Ronnie,

I’m sorry you are dealing with this type of non sense. It is difficult when we are dealing with arbitration but it is not impossible to overcome. Contact my office and let’s see if there is anything we can do about this — I’m assuming you live in Alabama. You can fill out a contact form or call us at 205-879-2447. Thanks

John Watts
